Acquired directly from the artist's exhibition at the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1971, thence by descent to the present owner
Condition
The painting is in good condition.
The canvas is in good condition with a clear and taut surface. Paint layers are intact. Examination with ultraviolet light reveals a tiny spot of retouching on the upper left quadrant (fuchsia streak near the neck). There is a very small spot of paint loss on the upper right corner and slight abrasion mark on the lower right corner but other than that, paint layers are intact and free of cracking, paint loss.
