Condition
Both the painting and canvas are in good condition. The canvas has a clear and taut surface.
There are a few spots of retouching in the background; lower middle, and some retouching on the left edge due to abrasion. All retouching are only visible under ultraviolet light.
The paint layers are intact and stable.
The colour brown in the background is more reddish in the actual painting. Also, trunks and trees are a warmer tone of brown and not as pale as illustrated.
