Condition
The painting is in good condition.
The canvas is also in good condition with a clear and taut surface.
No retouching was detected upon examination under ultraviolet light, except for several spots on the background of painting.
The paint layers are intact.
The colours are less yellow compared to the illustration. The colours of the actual painting are richer and the overall texture is more vibrant. Shadowing is also more dramatic in reality.
