Description

the heavily-potted curved sides rising from a short tapering foot to a broad everted lipped rim, the interior freely carved with a double lotus medallion and encircled in the well by leafy scrolling lotus, covered overall in a bluish-green glaze, the base with an unglazed ring burnt orange in the firing

Condition

With the exception of: several small glaze pulls to the exterior; light rubbing to the glaze on the interior edge of the rim and to the medallion; overall glaze scratches and minor firing and glaze imperfections, the dish is in good overall condition.
