Description
The center set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 9.75 carats, within a partly articulated buckle ornament set with baguette, old European-cut and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.00 carats, further decorated with square-cut sapphires, completed by a multi-strand necklace of cultured pearls measuring approximately 4.2 mm., the clasp and spacer bar set with additional square-cut sapphires, mounted in platinum, length approximately 13 inches, back segment detaches to form a bracelet, 1 diamond missing.
Condition
Pearls have not been tested but are likely to be cultured. They exhibit a very good luster and a creamy rose color, with minor to moderate blemishing. The sapphires are a deep blue color (a couple shades deeper than indicated by catalogue illustration), the center cushion-cut of slightly more violetish blue color and slightly included. The diamonds are approximately H-J color and predominantly SI clarity (one diamond missing). In good condition overall. Can be separated into two bracelets each 6 1/2 inches in length.
