Description
- Cabochons approximately 14.80 x 14.70 x 9.40 and 14.72 x 14.65 x 9.45mm.
Of Art-Deco design, each set with a circular translucent jadeite cabochon of bright green colour, partially surrounded by circular-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, mounted in platinum, clip fittings.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the gem report, two jadeite cabochons are natural jadeite jadeite of type A quality. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, both cabochons are round to naked eyes, of bright, intense green colour, in good translucency. Under illumination, there are white cloud inclusions, but not seen when worn or in normal distance. Round and baguette diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VS clarity with minor nicks and abrasions along edges.
Condition: The ear clips are dated Art Deco period, showing surface abrasions and scratches to the mount commensurate with use and age. Signs of repair to the clip backings, which may be later added. Both backings are in 9 karat white gold metal, but the earrings are mounted in platinum. Overall in good condition.
