Description
Modelled as a paisley motif, centring four graduated natural pearls measuring approximately 7.00 to 3.81mm, surrounded by old mine-cut diamonds extending to the terminal, the motif suspending a drop-shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 13.00 x 9.55mm, decorated by similar diamond-set cap, further enhanced by two oscillating natural pearls, the old mine-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 3.90 carats, mounted in silver-topped gold, detachable brooch fitting, with pendant loop, one diamond deficient.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the pearls are off-round and drop-shaped, of various hues from cream white to light golden yellow colours, medium good lustre, with minor surface blemishes which are observed only upon close look. Diamonds are mostly J to K colours, SI clarity, typical quality for old-cut diamonds.
Condition: One tiny rose-cut diamond set atop the pearl drop is missing, but not noticeable. Surface abrasions to the mount which commensurate with age and use, otherwise in good condition.
