The first brooch set with an openwork plaque of floral and foliate design decorated throughout with cushion-, pear-shaped and circular-cut diamonds; and the second brooch set to the centre with a mixed-cut pink topaz within an openwork mount of interlacing scrolls set with rose- and circulr-cut diamonds supporting a pear-shaped pink topaz swing pendant; mounted in silver-topped gold. Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the old-cut diamonds on diamond brooch are mixed colours, from near colourless to light yellow colours, SI clarity, together weighing approximately 4.70 carats. Bright and lively diamonds. The pink topazes are of a matching soft pink colour, light colour saturation, overall clean stones with some typical inclusions, minor abrasion and a few nicks, together weighing approximately 6.20 carats. Diamonds bright and lively stones, mixed quality, generally G-J, SI clarity, together weighing approximately 0.80 to 1.00 carat. Condition: Signs of normal wear and very light tarnish, scratches consistent with age and use. Both brooches in excellent condition for its age, well preserved.
