Description
- Plaques approximately 52.10 x 34.20 x 5.55, 26.05 x 20.70 x 4.13 and 25.68 x 20.34 x 4.10mm; hoops diameter and thickness approximately 12.60 x 3.55, 8.55 x 2.80 and 8.45 x 2.95mm; beads and cylinders approximately 4.96 x 5.67 and 14.00 x 4.20mm.
The necklace suspending a semi-translucent black and green dual-coloured jadeite plaque finely carved on both sides with lingzhi ruyi, flower blossom and bird motifs, to an Art Deco style diamond-set surmount enhanced by a cabochon ruby and a jadeite hoop, accompanied by a link-chain composed of diamond-set rondelles, jadeite beads and black jadeite cylinders, length approximately 700mm; and pair of matching pendent earrings, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, all three carved jadeite plaques are well matching and semi-translucent, of black colour background suffused with medium to vivid emerald green carved details on surface. Upon illumination, the black background is actually very dark green colour. Jadeite circles on both necklace and earrings are translucent emerald green colour, showing some dark inclusions and cloud upon close look. Jadeite beads on necklace are semi-translucent, medium to deep emerald green colour. The tubular black jadeite links on necklace show very dark green colour with slight clouds under strong illumination. All ruby cabochons are of strong red and eye clean. Diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VS to SI1 clarity.
Condition: Pendant is detachable from necklace. Unique materials with fine carving and special design, all in excellent condition.
