Description
The pendant set with a kite-shaped step-cut fancy vivid blue diamond weighing 2.01 carats, framed by brilliant-cut pink diamonds, to a radiant-cut fancy red diamond surmount weighing 0.42 carat, completed by a link-chain spectacle-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.40 carats, mounted in platinum, length approximately 400mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GIA reports, the two principle coloured diamonds are natural. The lozenge-shaped diamond is of Fancy Vivid Blue colour, VS2 clarity. The radiant-cut diamond in the surmount is Fancy Red colour, SI1 clarity. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, both coloured diamonds show very strong and pure face-up colour, good clarity that it is rare for pure red diamond to have only crystal inclusions, no feather or cavity, which appear relatively clean under 10x loupe. Tiny diamonds surrounding the vivid blue diamond are probably of light pink colour, VS to SI clarity. Other round diamonds on necklace are about H to I colours, similar clarity.
Condition: An exquisite pendant necklace, in very good condition.
