Description
Centring on an oval cabochon star ruby weighing 9.47 carats, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, further encircled by oval and circular rose-cut diamonds set at intervals, decorated to the basket and shank with brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.85 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS cert, the star ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the star ruby has rare and outstanding quality, showing strong, medium red colour, distinct and centered asterism (star), with a pleasing outline and nice dome. Translucent clarity with fine silk and small crystal inclusions under 10x loupe. Of which, one small dark crystal inclusion is surface reaching, but not noticeable to naked eyes. Diamonds in the surround are probably of F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Ring mount of elegant setting, in mint condition.
