Description
- Carving approximately 52.73 x 36.96 x 12.10mm.
The oval pendant of good thickness and semi-translucent lavender tone, carved with two confronting cats, huans, signifying double happiness, suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond-set rondelle and a ball-shaped clasp, spaced by a lavender jadeite bead of similar colour and translucency, extending to a stylised straight-line chain composed of marquise-shaped, black and brilliant-cut diamonds, completed by a double chain enhanced by similar diamond-set links, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 607mm, pendant detachable.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the lavender jadeite is translucent, of medium strong purple colour. Upon close look, the lavender jadeite shows white cloud inclusions, particularly to one side close to the edge and extending to the back, but generally these inclusions are not seen when worn. Diamonds together weigh approximately 4.00 carats in total, of probably F to G colours, VS clarity. The round black diamonds are opaque, with surface pits observed under 10x loupe.
Condition: Minor and fine scratches to the necklace mount, otherwise in very good condition.
