TWO CARVED ICY JADEITE AND BLACK JADEITE PENDANTS

One of highly translucent icy jadeite material carved as a Buddha, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the surmount, highlighted by a jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour, accompanied by a double link-chain decorated with rose-cut diamonds and icy jadeite beads, length approximately 430 to 475mm; the other of semi-translucent black jadeite material carved as a Guanyin, to a diamond-set surmount highlighted by ruby and icy jadeite cabochons, accompanied by a double link-chain decorated by rose-cut diamonds, icy jadeite and ruby beads, length approximately 400 to 445mm, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the icy jadeite Buddha is semi-transparent, and the black jadeite Guanyin is semi-translucent which appears dark green under strong illumination. The icy jadeite beads on both chain necklaces and the three icy jadeite cabochons surmounted to black Guanyin pendant are highly translucent. All icy jadeite show white spots and clouds upon illumination. The jadeite cabochon surmounted to the pendant is highly translucent, of luminous emerald green colour. Ruby beads and cabochons are of slightly purplish red colour. Ruby cabochons are eye clean and beads are translucent clarity. Overall, the diamonds are about H to I colours, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Both pendants are detachable from the chain necklaces, overall in excellent condition.
