CAT'S-EYE CHRYSOBERYL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

The articulated necklace designed as double swags of brilliant-cut diamonds joined to the center with similar-set fringes, interspersed with seventeen cat's-eye chrysoberyl together weighing approximately 53.75 carats, accented by oscillating briolette diamonds, the briolette diamonds and diamonds together weighing approximately 17.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 400mm.

Colour and Clarity: The cat's eye chrysoberyls are of various hues ranging from greenish yellow colour, with a few having a tint of brown, some of a the desirable honey-colour. The chrysoberyls show an obvious chatoyancy (cat's eye) effect, generally very clean. A few show natural inclusions such as feathers/fingerprints/crystals visible only under 10x loupe. The diamond briolettes are about I-J colours, VS2 to SI1 clarity. The round and marquise diamonds are about G-H colours, VS clarity. Condition: An usual necklace, in very good condition.
