Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jadeite plaques set on the brooch are of matching, highly translucent green colour. Under strong illumination, there are some brownish clouds and dark inclusions, but generally not seen when worn. The diamonds are probably of G to H colours, VS to SI1 clarity, together weighing approximately 1.0 carat. The larger oval jadeite cabochon, weighing approximately 11.25 carats, is translucent, of strong green colour. Under illumination, there are white clouds and a few dark spot inclusions. The other oblong-shaped jadeite cabochon, weighing approximately 7.15 carats, is of similar translucency and bright green colour, showing white clouds under illumination. Both jadeite cabochons are of a litte flat dome of medium thickness. Condition: The brooch is in mint condition.
