The center of the necklace of scalloped design, decorated with circular- and step-cut rubies, and brilliant-cut diamonds, completed to the back by openwork pear-shaped links, length approximately 350mm; and pair of matching earrings, clip and post fittings; the rubies and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 11.20 and 1.80 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold. (2)
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rubies are probably of slightly purplish red colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and some surface pits which are not noticeable to naked eyes. Tiny diamonds are probably of J to K colours, SI clarity. This lot is offered without reserve.
Condition: Gold weight approximately 90 grams. Signs of wear and scratches to the mounts, otherwise in good condition.
