Attractive Rock crystal, emerald and diamond demi-parure, Bulgari, early 1980s

The articulated carved rock crystal collar set at the front with seven graduated step-cut emeralds framed by baguette, calibré- and square-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 390mm, together with a pair of ear clips en suite,

The correct estimate is CHF 265,000-385,000- US$ 220,000-325,000. Necklace and both ear clips stamped 750 for gold, signed Bulgari and maker's marks. According to Bulgari's archives, the necklace was designed in 1980 and delivered in 1982. On the necklace each emerald collet indicating most probably the emerald weight. Engraved with the following figures, from left to right: 3.25, 4.60, 5.17, 6.46, 5.63, 3.97, 3.85 carats, the two remaining emeralds on the ear clips estimated to weigh approximately 2.00 carats each, as gauged in the mount. Overall yellowish-green colour, medium strong saturation of colour, with typical crystal inclusions, well matched. For further information on the emeralds, please see the SSEF report. Total diamond weight approximately 18.00-20.00 carats, overall G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, gauged and graded insofar as yellow gold setting permits. With clips, no posts. Signs of little wear, scratches consistent with use, in good condition.
