Designed as a series of graduated oval rubies bordered by brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with quatrefoil motifs set with marquise-shaped stones, to a clasp of similar design, mounted in in yellow gold, length approximately 395mm,

Condition

Please refer to the Important Notices page 217 in the Day Sale catalogue, regarding import of rubies into the US. Stamped 750 for gold, signed Winston and maker's marks for Jacques Timey, numbered 1703. Total diamond weight approximately 30.00-40.00 carats, overall G-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Bright and lively stones. Rubies a pinkish red hue with strong saturation of colour, typical crystal inclusions, some noticeable to the naked eye but not when worn. Well matched. Supple necklace, clasp a little loose, could benefit from professional attention. Signs of little to normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with wear, in good condition.
