Description

Of rectangular form, the square dial applied with Arabic numerals, the beige enamel case decorated with turquoise and black enamel geometric elements, to the yellow gold initials VW  inset to the front and, 20-2-34 inset to the top, dial signed Cartier Paris, the base signed Cartier and numbered.

Condition

Numbered 1163 to the base. Manual movement and stem winding device to the bottom of the clock running at time of cataloguing. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of clocks. Faint circular staining to the top of the clock, most probably caused by a glass. Case made of enamel resembling marble, some scratches. The dial with tarnish to the inside. Scratches to gold and tarnish commensurate with age. In good condition.
