Description

Millegrain-set with an oval and two trapeze sapphires, within a border of circular-, single and rose-cut diamonds,  mounted in platinum, size 49½, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

French assay marks for platinum. The oval sapphire gauged to weigh approximately 7.50 carats, purplish blue with medium-good saturation of colour, typical crystal inclusions and signs of wear to the stone's surface noticeable under close inspection. Stone slightly loose in setting. Total diamond weight approximately 1.30 carats, weight difficult to assess due to rose-cutting. Signs of normal wear to the mount, scratches commensurate with wear and age, would benefit from a professional care and clean. Condition good.
