- Van Cleef & Arpels
Designed as a series of floral and foliate motifs set with cabochon rubies and carved emeralds accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, to a back of textured gold leaves, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, length approximately 390mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
The correct estimate is CHF 58,000-100,000 / US$ 48,000- 84,000.
Stamped 750 and French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00 carats, estimated colour H-I, estimated clarity VS, gauged and graded in mount. Estimated total ruby weight approximately 47.00 carats, surface reaching inclusions, some indented cavities, minor nicks and abrasion. Carved emerald with typical crystal inclusions, yellowish green of medium saturation, minor abrasion, nicks and scratches. Clasp secure, with safety catch to one side. Minor scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
