Sapphire and diamond brooch/necklace/bangle combination

The brooch of open work design decorated at the centre with an oval cabochon sapphire within circular-, rose-, single-cut and baguette diamond surrounds, can be worn on it's own, as a clasp to a simulated pearl necklace, length approximately 380mm, or on a bangle, circumference approximately 160mm, both unillustrated.

Metal for brooch tested as platinum. Cabochon sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 40.00 carats, light colour saturation, some crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), abrasion and nicks to surface. Slightly loose in setting, would benefit to be checked by a professional jeweler. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 10.50 carats, mixed colour and clarities. Necklace would benefit to be restrung. Minor scratches to metal due to normal wear. In overall good condition.
