- HEMMERLE
Comprising: a ring set at the centre with a cut-cornered emerald, the shoulders set with similar calibré-cut stones, size 52; together with a pair of ear clips of similar design, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, clip and post fittings, maker's marks.
Condition
Ring: Stamped or, 750 and Pt 950 for platinum. Maker's marks GH for Gebrueder Hemmerle. Principal emerald measuring approximately 12.5mm x 10.5mm x 6.8mm, calculated to weigh approximately 6.55 carats, a medium green hue, typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, nicks to girdle and one facet junction only visible with magnification, remaining stones well matched. Scratches to band consistent with wear. In good condition.
Earrings: Stamped 750 and Pt 950 for platinum. Maker's marks GH for Gebrueder Hemmerle. Emeralds well matched in colour, one slightly wider than the other, smaller stone with a surface reaching inclusions, visible only with magnification. Posts bent. Hinge posts a little sharp, could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller. In good condition.
