Cultured pearl, ruby and diamond necklace, Trianon

The torsade necklace composed of ten rows of variously sized cultured pearls embellished with ruby beads, the clasp set with faceted ruby beads and cultured pearls, studded at the centre with brilliant-cut diamonds, cultured pearls and circular-cut rubies, mounted in yellow gold, length approximately 440mm, signed Trianon.

Stamped 750 for gold and signed Trianon. The cultured pearls with creamy bodycolour, several with rosé overtones. Overall smooth skin with typical minor blemishes and good lustre. Each row well matched in size. The rubies with a pinkish red hue, good saturation of colour and well matched in colour, scratches and abrasions. Metal with signs of wear, scratches consistent with wear and use. One row of pearls loosely strung, could benefit from being restrung. Secure clasp. In good condition.
