Description
Comprising: a lady's cocktail watch, circa 1920, the rectangular dial applied with Roman numerals within a case set with single-cut and baguette diamonds, the strap of mesh design bordered by millegrain-set single-cut stones, a few links broken, length approximately 165mm; an emerald ring, 1930s, set at the centre with a step-cut emerald within a rectangular border and shoulders of circular-cut and baguette diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 50, French assay and maker's marks; three eternity rings, 1930s, two respectively set with calibré-cut sapphires and emeralds, signed Boucheron and Boucheron Paris, French assay and maker's marks, size 47, the other set with circular-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 49, French assay marks.
Condition
Lady's Cocktail watch: Movement running at time of cataloguing but please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Case stamped Platine for platinum. Movement numbered 71329, case numbered 105007. Mesh to one side of strap a little damaged and two links require repair. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp secure with two safety catches.
Emerald ring: Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Emerald a medium green, abraded facet junctions and nicks, chips to one corner. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00 carats, bright, lively stones. Could benefit from a careful professional clean. Significant scratches and indentations to band consistent with age and wear.
Three Eternity rings: All platinum, Sapphires a dark blue, well matched, abraded facet junctions. Emeralds well matched in colour, several abraded and with chips. Diamond ring, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.15 carats, bright stones.
