Description
The long chain spectacle-set with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, alternating with seed pearls, length approximately 1550mm, the lorgnette set with onyx and black enamel, to the millegrain-set single- and square-cut diamond borders, French assay marks.
Condition
The correct estimate is CHF 15,000-23,000 / US$ 12,000- 20,000.
Long chain: French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond approximately 10.00 carats, gauged and graded in mount, H-I colour, SI clarity some I, some chipped. Clasp secure, general wear. Pearls of various sizes white/cream bodycolour, medium to high lustre on average. In good condition.
Lorgnette: Stamped IRID PLAT for iridium and platinum to bridge of glasses. Significant losses to enamel edging. Diamonds bright and lively. Catch secure. Metal with scratches consistent with age and wear. In overall good condition.
