Description
The brooch/pendant centring on a cabochon emerald carved with a foliate motif, set within stylised branches of brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, embellished with circular-cut rubies and emeralds, mounted in yellow gold, signed Cartier Paris, French assay and maker's marks; the necklace designed as a line of collet-set brilliant-cut diamonds, circular-cut emeralds and rubies, length approximately 435mm, French assay and maker's marks,
Condition
Brooch/pendant: Stamped 750 and with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Bail and brooch pin each numbered 019950. Principal carved emerald a light green, measuring approximately 27.0 x 18.9 x 10.3mm. Diamonds bright and lively. Emeralds well matched in size, varying tones, typical inclusions visible with magnification. Rubies a medium purplish pinkish red hue, well matched in colour on average. Mount with light scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
Necklace: Stamped and with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.50 - 6.50 carats, estimated colour I, estimated clarity VS on average, please note stones were graded in the yellow gold collet settings. Emeralds and rubies well matched in size and colour, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Secure clasp and safety catch to one side loose, hinged pendant bail to centre. Some link connections a little bent. In overal good condition.
