Centring on an oval star ruby weighing 15.10 carats, encircled by oval diamonds of yellow hue, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.10 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the star ruby is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, this star ruby is translucent, of medium purplish red colour, displaying a distinct and well centered six-ray star atop the cabochon. Under 10x loupe and strong illumination, there are a few crystal and silky inclusions which are not shown in normal lighting and to naked eyes. Diamonds in the surround are of light yellow colour, VS to SI clarity.
Condition: Classic ring setting, in mint condition.

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 0701009, dated 9 January 2007, stating that the 15.10 carat star ruby is natural, of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heating. Rubies which have not been heated are scarce. This gemstone displays a distinct and well centered asterism (star effect).
