The step-cut emerald weighing approximately 7.45 carats, surrounded by radiant-cut diamonds of greenish yellow hue and circular-cut sapphire-set petal motifs, supported by a shank of cushion-shape form set with circular- and calibré-cut sapphires edged by brilliant-cut diamonds, the sapphires together weighing approximately 5.00 carats and greenish yellow diamonds approximately 1.00 carat, mounted in 18 karat yellow and blackened gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gubelin report, the emerald is natural, of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of medium to medium dark, intense green colour, eye clean. Under 10x loupe, there are a few natural inclusions as fingerprints and crystals, which leave two to three surface-reaching hairline fissures on the table. But these features are not seen to naked eyes and do not affect the overall brilliance of the stone. Radiant-cut coloured diamonds in the surround are probably of medium to intense green yellow colour, mostly VS clarity with about two stones in SI1. Colourless diamonds are of about F to G colour, VS clarity together weighing approximately 0.60 carat. Sapphires are of about medium to medium dark, intense blue colour, eye clean.
Condition: Creative design and very fine workmanship, overall in very good condition.
