Description
- Buddha approximately 41.56 x 26.48 x 9.14mm; and Guanyin approximately 39.76 x 23.75 x 8.87mm.
One of highly translucent icy material carved as a laughing Buddha, accompanied by a chain necklace spectacle-set with rose-cut diamonds, length approximately 380 to 400mm; and the other carved with black jadeite, depicting a seated Guanyin holding a ruyi sceptre, jewelled and clothed with a serene expression, accompanied by a chain necklace decorated with pairs of ruby rondelles, length approximately 410 to 430mm; decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat pink and white gold respectively. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the icy jadeite buddha is highly translucent to almost semi-transparent. Very clean that only a few minor white spots or clouds may show under illumination, but not seen in normal lighting. The black jadeite guanyin is semi-translucent to opaque. Under very strong illumination, it appears very dark green. Ruby beads on both pendants are translucent, medium red colour. Diamonds are probably of G to H colours, VS clarity. Both pendants are detachable and be worn separately. Rubies and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 8.80 and 1.05 carats respectively.
Condition: Very fine craftsmanship that both pendants show pleasant and serene smiles, all in very good condition.
