The floral spray brooch set with baroque jelly opal petals, centring on a cluster of brilliant-cut diamonds and rubies set en tremblant, accented by a pear-shaped emerald leaf, amidst finely textured gold branches and brilliant-cut diamond ribbons, the opals together weighing approximately 37.70 carats and diamonds approximately 1.80 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the tumbled jelly opals are of irregular shapes, colourless to light orange colour, with noticeable play-of-colour. Diamonds are probably of I to J colours, VS to SI clarity. Rubies are medium, pinkish red colour, eye clean. Emerald is medium green colour, moderately included to naked eyes. Condition: The en tremblant-set stamen adds lively movement to the brooch. Very fine workmanship, overall in very good condition.

Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
