TANZANITE, TSAVORITE GARNET AND DIAMOND RING, Lydia Courteille

Centring on a cushion-shaped tanzanite weighing approximately 20.00 carats, embraced by four bats decorated with tsavorite garnets, highlighted with ruby-set eyes, the bats set within billowing waves of brilliant-cut diamonds and tsavorite garnets, the tsavorite garnets together weighing approximately 1.50 carats, enhanced by a textured gold shank, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the tanzanite is of medium to medium dark, strong bluish violet colour, very clean to both naked eyes and loupe check, good brilliance. Tsavorite garnets are of graduated shades of grass green from light to strong saturation, eye clean. Diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VS clarity. Condition: Unusual design with detailed workmanship on the ring mount, in mint condition.
