Modelled as a single flower, the petals composed of carved red coral, the centre set en tremblant with a cluster of rose-cut diamonds, embellished with diamond-set swirls, the stem and leaves pavé-set with rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 6.10 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the coral petals are of strong, slightly orangy red colour. Upon close and careful look, there are patches of white to the reverse and some hidden parts, but generally not seen to the obverse and when worn. Diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VS clarity. Accompanied with wooden stand that the brooch can be rested and displayed as ornament.
Condition: Unique piece with fine workmanship, in mint condition.
