The first ring centring on a cabochon purple star sapphire weighing approximately 13.00 carats, within a cluster of brilliant-cut diamonds; and the second ring of bombé form, centring on an oval cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 24.00 carats, within a domed openwork surround channel-set with baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 2.00 carats, mounted in platinum. Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Gubelin report, the purple star sapphire is of violetish-purple colour, of Burmese origin with no indications of heating. in our opinion, semi transparent clarity. The side diamonds are about G to H colour, SI to I1 clarity. Some tiny nicks on the surface. For the sapphire, according to the Gübelin report, it is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. The colour is medium blue colour, eye clean, except for two drilled holes to the bottom. A tiny surface-reaching hair-line fissure on the cabochon on one end. Surrounding baguette diamonds are about G to H colour and mostly VS clarity.
Condition: Signs of wear commensurating with use, otherwise in good condition.

Ring size: 7 ¼ and 3 ¾ respectively
Accompanied by Gübelin reports numbered 0502099 and 0502100, dated 28 February 2005, stating that the 13.00 carat purple star sapphire and the 24.00 carat sapphire are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating. Sapphires which have not been heated are scarce.
