Description
- Plaques approximately 12.55 x 6.52 x 2.00 to 20.36 x 14.01 x 2.62mm.
The brooch set with four translucent rich emerald green jadeite plaques carved with floral motifs, embellished with diamond-set scrolls, accented by four brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 14 karat white gold; and a pair of jadeite huaigus of translucent deep green colour, each set in the centre with a brilliant-cut diamond, completed by a link-chain, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, carved jadeites on the brooch are well matched, of translucent, rich green colour. There may have a few minor brownish veins and white clouds under strong illumination and close look. Diamonds in the surround are probably of J to slightly tinted yellow, SI clarity. Two jadeite huaigu on the cufflinks are translucent, of matching, slightly mottled deep green colour, in relatively thin cut. Two small round diamonds are of about J colour, SI clarity.
Condition: Signs of wear to the mounts, consistent to age, otherwise both in very good condition.
