Set with an oval fancy deep blue diamond weighing 2.01 carats, amid a bombé frame pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the shank, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to both GIA and Gübelin reports, the centre diamond is natural, of Fancy Deep Blue colour, VS2 clarity. Note from Gübelin also states that this deep blue diamond is classified as type IIb kind. Please refer to the reports for details. Its cut is relatively shallow, giving a more spread out face-up appearance. Tiny diamonds are probably of E to F colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Very fine and delicate ring mount, in mint condition.

Accompanied by GIA report and Gübelin numbered 14859157 and 0605026 respectively, dated 4 April 2006 and 10 May 2006, stating that the 2.01 carat diamond is natural, Fancy Deep Blue colour, VS2 clarity; a special note accompanying the Gübelin report stating that the diamond is classified as a type IIb and appendix stating the fancy deep blue diamond "displays a beautiful blue hue which is free of any modifying colours" and "possesses an old cutting style which is rarely encountered in the gem trade today. Such a combination of attributes in a blue diamond of this colour is rare."
