Centring on an oval 'padparadscha' sapphire weighing 8.47 carats, surrounded by old mine-cut diamonds, flanked by baguette diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.75 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and pink gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGTA report, the padparadscha is natural, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the centre stone is of medium light to medium, slightly orangy pink colour, very clean to naked eyes. Under 10x loupe, there are fingerprint inclusions on pavilion. Circular diamonds are of old cutting style, probably of H colour, mostly VS clarity with two to three in SI grade. Small baguette diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Elegant ring mount, in mint condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
