The necklace composed of fourteen graduated melo pearls, decorated with waves of brilliant-cut diamonds and jadeite cabochons, length approximately 420mm, pendant detachable; and a pair of pendent earrings and ring en suite, clip fittings, the melo pearls measuring approximately 14.25 x 5.44 to 22.13 x 14.99mm, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 6.15 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold, signed. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the melo pearls are in graduated hues from medium light to strong, yellowish orange colour, with porcelain lustre. Two largest melo pearls on necklace pendant are of drop shape, other two on earring drops are off-round, the one set on ring is of ovoid shape, and the rest are of baroque outline. Some have noticeable frame pattern. Small round jadeite cabochons are well matched, of highly translucent emerald green colour. Diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Pendant is detachable and can be worn separately. Unique and rare suite of melo pearl jewellery with creative design. Overall in mint condition.
