Description
- Huaigus approximately 8.40 to 15.28mm.
The necklace composed of twenty-nine graduated translucent jadeite huaigus of deep emerald green colour, each centring a collet-set brilliant-cut diamond, spaced by two marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 425mm; and a pair of matching ear studs, mounted in 18 karat white gold. (2)
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jadeite huaigu are of matching, rich emerald green colour. Under strong illumination, there are minor brownish cloud inclusions. These huaigus are slightly thin, but have nice translucency. Marquise diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VS clarity, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 8.10 carats.
Condition: There is a minor tarnished stain to the reverse of the largest huaigu on necklace, but not seen to the obverse. Elegant and classic settings, show signs of wear, otherwise in good condition.
