Description
- Saddles approximately 9.67 x 4.60 x 2.20 and 11.70 x 4.17 x 2.65mm, cabochons approximately 5.35 x 4.06 and 10.78 x 7.46 x 3.80mm, huaigus approximately 8.50 x 1.40mm.
Comprising: an openwork ribbon brooch encrusted with brilliant-cut diamonds, set in the centre with two highly translucent emerald green saddle tops; the other diamond-set ribbon brooch centring on an emerald green oval jadeite cabochon of fine translucency, suspending a pear-shaped jadeite cabochon of similar colour and translucency, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds; and a pair of pendent earrings each set with two huaigus decorated with diamonds, spaced by a straightline chain alternately set with baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jadeite huaigus are fine translucent, of rich emerald green colour. The two jadeite saddles set on the ribbon brooch are of highly translucent bright green colour. Two other jadeite cabochons on the bow knot brooch are translucent, of deep green colour. Under strong illumination, these jadeites generally show some clouds and brownish inclusions which are not seen in normal lighting. Diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VS to SI1 clarity. Both the bow knot brooch and ribbon brooch have pendant loop fittings, which can be worn as pendants.
Condition: Overall all jewellery in very good condition.
