Of whimsical design, the head of rose quartz enhanced with a cabochon sapphire eye, the lip and fins of pink opal, the articulated bones pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, anchored by a carved tail of cabochon blue chalcedony, mounted in 14 karat blackened gold, signed.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VS clarity. Rose quartz set in head are transparent, soft pink colour. Pink opal set in fins are semi-translucent, of medium pink colour. Blue chalcedony is highly translucent, of bright, sky blue colour. Sapphire cabochon is of medium, intense blue colour, eye clean. Signed and circa 2007.
Condition: This whimsical piece is well articulated, which can be worn as both brooch and pendant, in mint condition.
