This painting is in beautiful state. The canvas is well stretched. The paint layer is clean and varnished and there do not appear to be any retouches visible either under ultraviolet light or to the naked eye. There is a possibility that a couple of retouches may have been applied however, they are not visible and this picture is clearly in beautiful state, requiring no further restoration. Beneath the banana on the edge of the table on the left side there is what appears to be an abrasion, yet this is most likely an intended un-painted area of canvas which does not require any restoration.
