Condition

There is craquelure throughout the work which has been stabilized. Under ultra violet light, there is a slightly opaque varnish. There appears to be an old 7 in. horizontal restoration in the lower right quadrant and another 10 in. vertical restoration that seems to have been repainted. There is a puncture hole in the upper left corner and in the lower left corner. There are two areas of loss each about 1 ½ in. along the left edge. There are scuff marks on the right half of the upper right edge and scattered small white spots on the surface.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
