Condition

The sculpture is in very good condition. The polished onyx displays a distinctive network of veining of various colors that is inherent in the stone. It has a translucent polished surface with no significant scratches or abrasions evident. A minor nick (1/4") in the stone was noted above the proper left elbow. Dirt can be seen trapped in some of the grains of the stone. The sculpture is structurally sound. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Wilson Conservation.)
