Condition

The sculpture is in very good condition. The textured surface displays a uniform opaque brown patina that is in very good condition. Several small areas of blanched wax that appears as small white specks and small green dots of green corrosion in the recesses were observed on the surface. A small weep hole was found below the figure's belly, which allows water to exit the sculpture. The edge of a woven pad can be seen on the bottom of the sculpture that was most likely used to protect the sculpture and floor. The sculpture appears structurally sound with no significant scratches or abrasions evident on its surface. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Wilson Conservation.)
