Condition

Oaxaca The sheet is hinged to the mat twice along the top edge. The sheet has unevenly cut edges and a white border of approximately 2 in. surrounding the image. There are thin strips of white paper on each of the corners against the image, possibly from old matting. There are significant handling marks and smudges to this border area. There is an area of heavy light brown staining along the upper edge most likely from old mounting. On the reverse there are remnants of old brown mounting tape along all edges. The colors are vibrant and the piece appears to be in excellent condition overall. Los Remedios The sheet is hinged to the mat twice along the top edge. The sheet has unevenly cut edges. There is old brown mounting tape on all four corners of the reverse and a strip along the upper edge. The colors are vibrant and overall this work is in very good condition.
