Condition

This painting has been recently restored and should be hung as is. The board is stable and the paint layer is healthy, clean and has been very lightly varnished. There are some retouches addressing two small scratches in the lower right corner and a few dots on the extreme edges of the left side and across the top. Overall the condition is lovely. On the reverse there is an inscribed work which seems to be a street scene but has been partially obscured by a blue-grey paint. This side of the picture has not been cleaned or restored. In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
