Identified by the third eye and his jatamukuta hairstyle, Shiva is smiling, adorned with beautiful jewelry, most notably the necklace delicately rendered in high relief.

Condition

The right arm broken diagonally backward and upwards from just above the elbow. The left arm broken at shoulder level. The bridge and tip of the nose slightly chipped as are the loops of hair on the left side of the jatamukuta hairstyle. The surface slightly worn and rough with weathering, containing soil deposits throughout. No restoration.
