A high relief stele depicting a four-armed iconic form of Vishnu standing in samapada, his ten primary avatars carved on either side.

California Collection, acquired 1970

Condition

The lower arm is broken at the elbow, as are the lotus flower heads directly beneath. The face has chips to the features, the small attendant figure on the right has a chip in the right breast. The stone slightly worn with age. Otherwise good condition. No visible signs of restoration.
