Provenance

Collection of Gordon Rollins, 1960's/70's

Condition

Lot 265 The front section of the head from the top of the usnisha running diagonally down the cheeks to the chin has broken away and been visibly restored with grey colored fill, which can just be seen in the photograph. There is an uneven diagonal break on the right side rubbing from below the elbow to the bottom of the base. The halo is almost lost, sliced on both sides leaving a triangular section behind the head. The left forearm has exfoliated along a seam line from the wrist to the elbow, the right thumb is chipped and the robes are slightly exfoliated and pitted in places. The details are clear and in good condition.
